Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Issuances are policy-making issuances which set a direction for Local Government units, the PNP, and other interior bureaus, to ensure their alignment with the general policy objectives of the national government. These issuances also help clarify the administrative authority and jurisdiction of local officials, through the interpretation of relevant laws. Some of the different categories under DILG Issuances include: Memorandum Circular, DILG Legal Opinions, Administrative Orders, Joint Memorandum Circulars, DILG Advisories.
