Gio here. Our last Brief (#3) was waaay back in April. But rest assured  - we’ve been heads down working on the platform. I’m excited to round up our updates since then.

In case you forgot: Our team is building a legal research and writing tool that’s powered by artificial intelligence (AI). We’re building this AI system with an understanding of Philippine Laws, Jurisprudence, and government rules and regulations; and that knowledge unlocks new capabilities which we’re making available through the Anycase.ai web application that you use.

This newsletter is for keeping our users - that’s you! - updated with what we’re working on. In most cases, that’s a cool new feature you can use to make your work tasks a bit more pleasant. We also publish this newsletter on our blog.

⚡ Intelligence Boost. How are you liking it?

Back in May we released Intelligence Boost, a more advanced version of our AI Answers feature. While technically still in beta (a feature in “soft launch”), our internal indicators suggest its outputs are smarter and more capable than our earlier AI Answers version.

Users on Pro, Basic, and even free trial accounts already have access to Intelligence Boost-ed AI Answers. But we’re not done with the feature just yet! Our lead engineer Kurt is working on a few more tweaks to the system that we think will take it to another level … more on that in the coming weeks 🤫

In the meantime, do tell us about your experience using AI Answers / Intelligence Boost. What’s the good and the bad? Your feedback helps in our pursuit of building the smartest, most capable Legal AI in the Philippines.

🗃️ Browse your AI Answers History

In mid-June we released one of the top user-requested features: AI Answers history.

When you Search and generate an AI Answer, the output, citations and associated search results are automatically stored for you. Browse and get back to your saved AI Answers through the web app’s beautiful new sidebar, crafted by our engineer MJ:

Say goodbye to keeping multiple tabs open just to “save” an AI Answer. Get back to it any time during your legal research through the sidebar.

☀️ Let There Be Light (Mode)

Another crowd pleaser! Just last week we released the option to use Anycase.ai in Light Mode. Just look for the ☀️ and the 🌜 icons to make the switch:

We understand that lawyers and legal professionals read… a lot. Some people prefer reading in dark mode, some people read better in light mode. We do what we can to make your legal research pleasant.

⚙️ Misc. improvements and fixes

• Visa and Mastercard are now supported at checkout. Upgrade to Pro with your credit or debit card.

• We made format changes on the document Reader pages for readability, and to make them search engine-friendly

• When typing in the search box, you can now hit SHIFT + ENTER to add a line break

• Fixed other bugs we found that affected how the web app would load on some users’ browsers
