Data and Accuracy

As of June and July 2026, Anycase’s library includes an additional 6,861 documents, with a key focus on the BSP, IC, CSC, BOC, BIR, and CTA additions.

Starting July 2026, issuances from the Insurance Commission will be available to all users, expanding data coverage on compliance and consumer protection.

By incorporating IC issuances, Anycase now better supports in-house legal teams, compliance officers, corporate lawyers and professionals who rely on current administrative issuances to make operational and regulatory decisions.

Key Additions Include:

  1. Guidelines in the Renewal of Insurance Agent’s License Expiring on 31 December 2024 - Circular Letter No. 2024-22 (2024), which raises the minimum aggregate commission or compensation for an agent to be considered “actively engaged” to ₱10,800 over the three-year license-validity period. This adjustment aligns the standard with the updated three-year license cycle and addresses the economic disruptions caused by the pandemic.

  1. Guidelines on the Facilitated Processing of Claims - Circular Letter No. 2025-21 (2025), which covers the mandatory relaxation of company procedures and documentary requirements for claims processing whenever a state of calamity is declared, significantly reducing bureaucratic hurdles for disaster victims. This also mandates insurance, reinsurance companies, mutual benefit associations, pre-need companies and HMOs to expedite the processing, approval, and payment of disaster related claims whenever a national or local state of calamity is declared.

  1. Limited Authority to Solicit Fire and Motor Car Insurance - Circular Letter No. 12-99 (1999), which grants limited authority to solicit fire and motor car insurance to individuals who have not yet passed the qualifying examination, provided that they complete a company-certified training course and pass the examination within one year. This departs from the previous framework, which required passing the exam before any solicitation activity.

One-off ingestions for June and July 2026

For June and July 2026, we’ve added a set of targeted cases into our legal library:

Behind the scenes: Lawyer-reviewed legal data

We’ve been implementing Anycase’s LAGDA (Lawyer-Annotated and Governed Data Architecture), an internal system led by our Legal Intelligence Team and Data Engineering Team. With this, our Legal Intelligence Team can quickly identify and upload missing authorities that resolve real user queries. An example of this is our monthly list of one-off ingestions that we receive from user reports and internal findings after evaluations.

Anycase’s LAGDA system gives lawyers direct oversight of how the AI retrieves legal information. They can review, validate, and annotate its sources to help ensure that Anycase cites the controlling law and relevant authorities since it has been tracked, updated and prioritized deliberately by our team of Filipino lawyers while clearly flagging laws that have been amended or repealed. For any reported errors on Anycase, feedback is always reviewed by lawyers and they improve the underlying legal data.

New features and releases

View original file and link to 1:1 canonical copy for easier verification

For supported documents, Anycase now displays a hyperlink to the original online source. Clicking the link will take users directly to the website where the document was published, making it easier to verify the source and review the original copy.

Improved multi-turn behavior

Previously, when you changed your library sources mid-conversation, follow-up answers could still reference documents from your earlier selection. Now, Anycase only cites sources that are active in your current query, so every citation you see is verified and accessible.

Sort sources by relevance or latest

We updated source sorting to make results easier to navigate. Users can now sort by relevance to find the closest match or by latest to surface the most recently published documents.

Here are some bug fixes and QOL improvements we did last June and July:

In the last couple of months, we worked on several quality of life changes to improve your user experience:

  • Confirmation modal for deleting a chat and bookmark

We added confirmation prompts before users remove a bookmark or delete a chat. This extra step helps prevent accidental deletions and gives users a chance to review the action before it is completed.

  • Checkout summary prior payment

We also added a checkout summary before payment so users can review plan details, compare their options, and confirm which subscription they want to renew.

  • Change password via Account settings

For email based users, you now have the option to change or update your password through the account page for security.

  • Improving highlights and chunking to avoid lagging

We fixed an issue where clicking certain citations could cause the app to freeze.
