AN ACT DECLARING BASISTA, PROVINCE OF PANGASINAN, CREATED BY EXECUTIVE ORDER NUMBERED FOUR HUNDRED FORTY-SIX DATED SEPTEMBER FIVE, NINETEEN HUNDRED SIXTY-ONE, AS A DULY CONSTITUTED MUNICIPALITY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The town of Basista, Province of Pangasinan, created by Executive Order Numbered Four hundred forty-six dated September five, nineteen hundred sixty-one, is hereby declared a duly constituted municipality as of the date it was created by said executive order. All elective officials of said town shall continue to hold office until their successors are elected and shall have qualified.
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
Enacted without Executive approval on May 8, 1967.
